A little about me…

With nine years of experience in education and technology, I am a lifelong learner looking to advance my career and leverage my skills in the private sector. I specialize in developing learning programs that make complex information manageable. My career has been defined by a passion for end-to-end curriculum design, ranging from initial scoping and resource evaluation to final assessment and implementation.

What I Bring to the Table

I am an expert at partnering with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate intricate concepts into engaging, actionable content. My background is rooted in evidence-based design, having served on School Improvement and Curriculum Development teams where I analyzed district-level performance data to streamline intervention plans and improve academic outcomes.

Core Strengths:

Instructional Design: Designing comprehensive, research-based curricula aligned with organizational standards using industry tools like Articulate360 and Rise360.

Technology Integration: Expertly utilizing LMS systems and digital tools to optimize workflows and learner engagement.

Strategic Collaboration: Leading cross-functional meetings and partnered with stakeholders to align projects and maintain consistency.

Data-Driven Optimization: Leveraging performance metrics to make real-time adjustments to instructional frameworks and improve results.

My Professional Journey

Currently, I serve as an English Teacher at a school in the Chicago suburbs. In this role, I have led a number of peer training seminars, developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for digital curricula, and managed complex workflows for over 125 users across multiple platforms. I also take great pride in my work as a Mentor Teacher, where I facilitated the growth of a fellow educator through weekly coaching.

I hold a Master of Arts in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from Olivet Nazarene University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Illinois. I’m also working towards an additional Master’s degree in Instructional Design from the University of Illinois.

Let’s Connect

I am driven by the challenge of creating learning experiences that are not only informative but also relevant and scalable. Whether it’s managing a complex project timeline or proposing creative, data-backed strategies for growth, I am dedicated to driving measurable success. Let me know how I can help!
